Jarreau will begin his second season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Bulldogs during the 2020-21 academic year.
UNC Asheville head baseball coach Scott Friedholm announced the addition of Jarreau as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2020 campaign on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.
"We are excited to have Brad and his fiancé, Anna, join our program. He has proven that he can coach outfielders and hitters over the past two years at Northeast Community College in Nebraska. We can't wait to get him on the field and working with our guys."
Jarreau joins the Bulldogs after spending the last two seasons as an assistant coach at Northeast Community College.
During the 2019 season, Jarreau assisted the second-year program at Northeast Community College to a Region XI championship, North Plains District championship and a World Series birth.
Under Jarreau's tutelage, Drew Smith won the NJCAA DII National Player of the Year and was a NJCAA DII All-American. Jarreau developed four NCAA Division I hitters in Northeast Community College's first ever recruiting class.
During his two years at Northeast Community College, Jarreau's teams were awarded with six All-Conference selections, three honorable mentions and one IAAC Conference Player of the Year.
A Nashville, Tenn. native, Jarreau played Division I baseball at Middle Tennessee State University. He started 163 games from 2013-2017.
He was a career .322 hitter and accumulated 163 hits during his time at Middle Tennessee State. Jarreau was also a 2015 All-Conference USA selection.
