Overview:Coming off a break-out season in 2007-08...she is UNC Asheville’s leading returning scorer from last season with a 10.1 scoring average....complete package of skill, talent and work ethic...most versatile player on this year’s roster...will play both in the backcourt and frontcourt on offense as well as defense...will now look to become more of a vocal leader for this year’s team...will serve as one of three captains for the Bulldogs this season.
2007-08: Started 28 times and ended the year as Bulldogs second leading scorer with a 10.1 average...second on team in rebounding with 5.6 mark...named Big South Player of the Week on Jan. 14 after career-high 23 points in home win over USC Upstate (1-8) as she went 9-of-11 from the field and collected eight rebounds...earlier in the week against Presbyterian (1-5) she enjoyed her first double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds...tied her career-high in points in win at High Point (2-20) with 23 points as she went 9-of-15 from the field with seven rebounds...scored in double figures 13 times...pumped in 17 points with seven rebounds in road win at Winthrop (3-5)...had double-double in Big South Tournament game against Radford (3-14) with 16 points and 10 rebounds...posted 18 points in early-season victory over Gardner-Webb (11-17)...grabbed at least seven rebounds in 12 different games.
2006-07: Did a nice job inside for the Bulldogs as she earned a start in 11 games and all three BSC Tournament games...played very well in BSC title game against Radford (3-10) with seven points and three rebounds as she kept the Bulldogs within striking distance...scored season-high eight points and grabbed six rebounds at home against Montreat (1-4)...scored six points and grabbed season-high eight rebounds during home win over Morgan State (11-17)...tallied seven points and had three blocked shots with two steals in home win over Presbyterian (12-2)...pumped in six points during key league win over Charleston Southern (1-23)...earned the start at Liberty (2-24) where Bulldogs picked up first victory in 10 years as she scored four points and grabbed four rebounds.
2005-06: Played in 24 games, averaging 7.3 minutes per game...scored a season-high 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the floor and hit her only three-pointer of the season against Sewanee (12-17)...also pulled down a season-high eight rebounds in that game...had seven rebounds in 20 minutes against Montreat (1-5)...scored six points on 2-for-2 shooting from the floor, 2-for-3 shooting from the line and four rebounds in Big South quarterfinal loss at High Point (3-7)...had three four-point efforts against North Carolina A&T (12-20), Winthrop (2-14), and at Birmingham-Southern (3-4).
Before UNC Asheville: Averaged 16.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists as a senior at Franklinton High School...led her team to two conference championships and four state playoff appearances...was an all-conference performer all four years and was the Female Athlete of the Year at Franklinton in 2003-04...named team MVP and defensive Player of the Year...also played volleyball and ran track and cross country.
