Tyler Ware Earns Third Straight Big South Conference Offensive Player of the Week Honor

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Soccer senior forward Tyler Ware has earned his third straight Offensive Player of the Week honor in the Big South Conference, announced by the league today (Monday, Sept. 28). This is the longest streak for a Bulldog player since Charlie Farrar earned four consecutive Defensive Player of the Week honors back in 2024.

Ware helped Asheville continue the best start in the program's Division I era with a 3-0 win at Georgia State on Wednesday (Sept. 23) and a 5-0 win at Presbyterian on Sunday (Sept. 27). He posted two goals and assist in each game for a pair of braces and five-point nights for 10 points on the week on four goals and two assists.

This is Ware's third career Offensive Player of the Week honor. The Hooper, Utah native is a business major.

The Bulldogs (8-1-1, 2-0-0 Big South Conference) return to action Friday night (Oct. 2) at Gardner-Webb in Big South Conference play. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. from Boiling Springs, N.C. with video and live stats available at www.uncabulldogs.com.
