Women's Basketball Releases 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Basketball has released its non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season today (Tuesday, Sept. 22), for the program's third season under Tynesha Lewis.

The season opens with home games against Clinton College on Nov. 4 and Georgia State on Nov. 6, before the first road trip of the year takes Asheville to Samford on Nov. 9. Asheville returns home to face Western Carolina for the Mountain Rivalry on Nov. 12, before hosting Brevard on Nov. 17. The Bulldogs travel to ACC contender Clemson on Nov. 20, before hosting East Tennessee State on Nov. 24. After the Thanksgiving holiday, the Bulldogs face Appalachian State on the road on Nov. 27 while also facing Queens (N.C.) in Boone on Nov. 28. December opens with the annual Education Day game as the Bulldogs host Warren Wilson on Dec. 2, before the Bulldogs travel to South Carolina State on Dec. 5. Asheville will host Furman on Dec. 8, before going on the road to East Carolina (Dec. 12) and Wake Forest (Dec. 16) and hosting Montreat on Dec. 19. The last non-conference game of the season will be played on Jan. 12 at home against UNC Greensboro.

"We're excited about this non-conference slate, and we believe it should have us well-prepared for Big South Conference play," said head coach Tynesha Lewis.
