UNC Asheville to Participate in 2026 Biltmore Championship Asheville Birdies for Charity Program

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Athletics is proud to announce that the University of North Carolina Asheville Foundation, Inc. has been approved to participate in the 2026 Biltmore Championship Asheville Birdies for Charity program, providing Bulldog supporters with another opportunity to invest in the success of Asheville student-athletes.
Birdies for Charity is a fundraising platform, hosted by the Biltmore Championship Asheville. Participating charities invite their donors to make a minimum $20 donation through Birdies for Charity. Donors are then given the chance to guess the number of birdies made during the competition rounds of the 2026 Biltmore Championship Asheville. The individual who guesses the exact number of birdies or closest to (without going over) will receive The Ultimate Biltmore Experience, which includes a 3-night stay for two (2) guests in a Chateau Tier suite at the Forbes 4 Star Inn on the Property, Chef's breakfast for 2 daily in The Dining Room, one Dinner for 2 in The Dining Room, Expert Guided Tour of Biltmore House for 2, Red, Wine & Chocolate experience for 2 and Valet Parking.
Biltmore Championship Asheville provides a bonus pool of $50,000, offering participating charities the opportunity to receive bonus dollars beyond what they fundraise. Funds awarded from the bonus pool will be based on the percentage an individual nonprofit raises to the total donations for all participants.
Supporters can make secure online donations through UNC Asheville's dedicated Birdies for Charity campaign page or by submitting a manual donation form. To access a manual donation form, contact Jill Wilson at jwilso33@unca.edu. All donations must be received by 5 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026.
