Bulldogs Finish 2025-26 School Year with 3.30 Department GPA

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville athletics department continued its strong tradition of academic excellence during the 2025-26 academic year, as the Bulldogs posted a 3.30 department GPA.
The Bulldogs had 271 student-athletes enrolled during the spring 2026 semester and posted a 3.328 semester GPA. Of those 271 student-athletes, 150 earned a GPA of 3.00 or higher, 97 were named to the Dean's List, and 37 were named to the Chancellor's List. Asheville also had 51 student-athletes graduate during the spring commencement ceremony.
During the spring semester, the women's tennis team posted a 3.77 GPA, the highest among all women's programs, while the men's tennis team earned a 3.58 GPA, the highest among all men's programs. Women's tennis also recorded the highest team GPA during the fall semester with a 3.85, while men's soccer led all men's programs with a 3.66 GPA.
Five teams posted GPAs above 3.50, while 11 programs earned team GPAs of 3.00 or higher.
