Bulldogs Represent Asheville at Wake Forest Invitational

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Following a strong showing at the Wake Forest Invitational, Alison Graf and Jan Málek lead the Big South in their respective events. Graf competed in the women's 800m, while Málek represented the men's side in the 3,000m steeplechase.
Graf delivered a standout performance in the 800m, winning her heat with a personal-best time of 2:09.27. The mark improves her No. 2 standing in program history by 0.70 seconds.
Málek turned in a solid effort in the 3,000m steeplechase, clocking a time of 9:08.75 and finishing 11th in section two.

UNC Asheville track and field returns to action next weekend (April 24-25) at the Catamount Classic, hosted by Western Carolina University.
