Leo Kolbe Lands on the Big South Conference Men's Tennis All-Academic Team

FULL BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE RELEASE
 
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Tennis sophomore Leo Kolbe has landed on the Big South Conference All-Academic Team, announced by the league today (Wednesday, Apr. 15).
 
A sophomore double-major in physics and mathematics, Kolbe has posted a 3.93 grade point average in his time as a Bulldog. He has posted a 6-5 mark in doubles play this season, along with one win in singles play.
 
This is Kolbe's first career All-Academic Team selection. He is a native of San Michele all' Adige, Italy.
 
The Bulldogs are the No. 5 seed in the upcoming Big South Conference Championships, and will face No. 4 Presbyterian in tomorrow's (Thursday, Apr. 16) quarterfinal action. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m. from the Lexington County Tennis Complex, with live stats available at www.uncabulldogs.com.
