Swimmers Head to Gardner-Webb, Divers Head to Georgia Southern This Weekend

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville's swimmers will head to Gardner-Webb on Friday (Jan. 9), while the divers will trek to Georgia Southern for weekend action.

About the Bulldogs - The Bulldogs come into the weekend at 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the Atlantic Sun Conference after a 158.5-141.5 win back on Dec. 12-13. Leigha Travis has earned a pair of ASUN Diver of the Week honors so far this season, while Anna Marcotti has earned two ASUN Swimmer of the Week honors on the year. Asheville has also registered 24 lifetime-best marks so far on the season to go along with 85 season-best marks.
About Gardner-Webb - Gardner-Webb comes into the competition at 1-2 in dual meets on the season, having last competed Nov. 21-23 at the Fall Frenzy Invitational.
About Georgia Southern - Georgia Southern's divers last competed on Jan. 3, where they finished fifth at the FIU Invitational.
About Savannah College of Arts & Design - SCAD last competed at South Carolina's Gamecock Invite back on Nov. 18-21, where they finished seventh.
