Two More Bulldogs Earn Summer League All-Star Honors

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville pitcher Matthew Hall and outfielder Jake Minarik have earned summer league All-Star selections.
 
In 20.0 innings and four starts with the Clayton Clovers of the Old North State League, Hall has tallied two wins scattering two hits allowing just four runs with 20 strikeouts to seven walks.
 
Minarik has played to a .417 batting average, a .484 on-base percentage and a 1.109 OPS with the Statesville Owls of the Southern Collegiate Baseball League.
 
"I'm extremely proud of Matthew Hall and Jake Minarik for being selected to their respective All-Star Games," said interim head coach Alex Raburn. "Their relentless work ethic and commitment to getting better have truly stood to me out this summer. I'm proud of how they've represented UNC Asheville - with class, character and a competitive spirit that reflects everything we stand for."
