Harvey and Session Represent UNC Asheville at NCAA East First Round

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – DaMarr Harvey and Shemarr Session concluded their 2025 Outdoor Track seasons by representing UNC Asheville at the NCAA East First Round on Wednesday, May 28.
After a weather delay that pushed the evening running events back by nearly four hours, Harvey kicked things off in the 100m at 10:50 p.m., finishing 37th after entering as the 48th seed. Harvey ran the 100m in 10.56.
At 12:30 a.m., Session competed in the 200m, finishing in 32nd with a time of 21.29. Session improved three spots as he entered the race as the 35th seed.
This was Harvey's second time representing UNC Asheville on the NCAA Championship stage, after qualifying for the 200m dash last year. Harvey is the fifth Bulldog to advance to the NCAA First Round, and is the third individual to advance back-to-back years.
Session was the second freshman and the sixth individual to represent Asheville on the NCAA Championship stage.
