Men's Tennis Drops Friday Tilt to Elon

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Tennis dropped its Friday (Mar. 21) tilt to Elon by a score of 5-2 at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.
Asheville would capture the doubles point for a 1-0 lead in the match, before Elon won five of six singles match to rally for the victory.

After dropping the first doubles match at No. 3, Freddy Murray and Cian Ingles knotted the contest with a 6-1 win at No. 1 over Veljko Kristic and Oksar Antinheimo before Griffin Lovern and Sai Gandepalli rallied to capture the doubles point with a 6-3 win over Rafael Ymer and Jack Curtis at No. 2. Gandepalli would pick up Asheville's lone singles win at No. 3, beating Antinheimo 3-6, 6-3, 10-7.
