Jordan Marsh Earns Big South Conference Player of the Week Honors

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Sophomore guard Jordan Marsh has been named the Big South Conference Player of the Week. The league made the announcement on Monday (Jan. 6).
In two games this past week, Marsh averaged 24.5 points, scoring 20 in Asheville's final nonconference contest on Dec. 30 against CIU and a career-high 29 in Asheville's conference opening victory against High Point. Against High Point, he also notched career-highs with eight assists, 10 field goals, nine free throws made, 12 free throw attempts, and a block.
Between the two games, the sophomore from Charlotte went 19-31 from the field for a .613 field goal percentage.
On the year, Marsh is averaging 15.6 points per game and leads the team and league with a .870 free throw percentage.
Marsh and the Bulldogs return to the court on Wednesday, Jan. 8, as Asheville travels to Longwood for a 7 p.m. tipoff.
