Women's Swimming and Diving Wraps Up Annual Intrasquad Meet

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Swimming and Diving wrapped up its annual intrasquad this weekend (Sept. 13-14), with the White Team defeating the Blue Team 162-92.Â

From the Blue Team - "We had so much fun!" said I think we really came together as a team and fought really hard. We're so proud of our teammates and this is a great start to the season!"

From the White Team - "The intrasquad meet today was one for the books! It was so exciting to get competitive with each other while staying supportive. We are all training hard so it was fun to go out there and have fun! Diving was a blast to watch yesterday and it was amazing to be able to support them. We are so excited to carry this energy into the season!" - captain Riley Edmundson

From the Alumni - "It's always so great to be back at our home pool even for a splash and dash 100 with old friends. It's amazing catching up with fellow alumni and seeing what great things everyone is up to while we meet the new generation of Bulldogs." – Hannah Bruno '22

The Bulldogs return to the water on Sept. 28 as the divers take on Davidson on the road. The action begins at 12:30 p.m. from Davidson, N.C.
