ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Basketball has revealed the 2024-25 non-conference schedule for the program's first season under head coach Tynesha Lewis.
The season begins on Nov. 4 hosting Mercer, before the Bulldogs travel to ACC power Virginia Tech on Nov. 13. Asheville returns home on Nov. 15 to host Charlotte, before embarking on a four-game road swing. The Bulldogs will make stops at UNC Greensboro (Nov. 19), Loyola (Md.) (Nov. 23), Wofford (Nov. 26) and Tennessee State (Nov. 30) to conclude the month of November. December begins with Education Day against Warren Wilson on Dec. 4, before Asheville welcomes Furman on Dec. 11. After a road trip to North Florida on Dec. 14, Asheville returns to Kimmel Arena to finish its non-conference play. The Bulldogs will host East Tennessee State on Dec. 17, rival Western Carolina on Dec. 21 and Brevard on Dec. 30 before conference play begins in January.
"A tough non-conference schedule is exactly what we need to sharpen our skills and test our resolve," said Lewis. "It's the perfect preparation for the battles we'll face in conference play. The challenges we overcome now will make us stronger when it really counts."
