The season will officially tip-off on Monday, Nov. 4, as the Bulldogs travel to face Alabama. Last season, the Crimson Tide made its first Final Four appearance in program history and finished with a 25-12 record. According to ESPN's Way-Too-Early Top 25 Rankings, Alabama is ranked at No. 2. This will be the first time Asheville has faced Alabama.

The Bulldogs' second road trip of the season will be to Ohio University on Nov. 9. Last season, Ohio went 20-13 and fell to Akron in the Mid-American Conference Tournament. This will be the third time in program history that Asheville and Ohio have squared off. The Bobcats hold a 2-0 series lead.

Asheville travels to Conway, Arkansas, to face Southeast Missouri State and Central Arkansas Nov. 22 and 24. This will be the first time Asheville will go up against both teams in program history. Last season, SEMO went 9-22 and Central Arkansas went 9-23.

Asheville will open December play by facing Tennessee State for the first time in program history. The Tigers went 18-15 last season. On Dec. 3, the Bulldogs will play George Mason for the first time in program history as well. The Patriots finished the 2023-24 season 20-12, just the third time Mason has reached 20 wins or more in the last 11 seasons.

The Bulldogs' final road test of the season will be at UNC Wilmington on Dec. 21. Last year, Asheville opened its home schedule against the Seahawks and fell 83-66. UNCW went 21-10 last season.

HOME & HOME SERIES

Asheville will play a home-and-home series with North Florida, first traveling to Jacksonville on Nov. 18 and then hosting the Ospreys in Kimmel on Dec. 17. This will be the first time in program history that the Bulldogs and Ospreys have faced each other. Last season, North Florida went 16-16.

HOME SWEET HOME

Asheville's first game inside Kimmel Arena will be against Warren Wilson on Nov. 7.

The Bulldogs will host St. Andrews on Dec. 7. The 2024-25 season marks the 60th year  UNC Asheville men's basketball has competed as a four-year institution, and St. Andrews is the only opponent the Bulldogs face this year that Asheville played against back in the 1964-65 season.

The Bulldogs have a 3-game home stretch, starting with Mountain Rivals Western Carolina on Dec. 14, North Florida on Dec. 17, and Virginia University of Lynchburg on Dec. 19.

WCU's 25-33 record over the Bulldogs dates back to the 1929-30 season when the two teams were junior college opponents. Asheville looks to avenge its loss against the Catamounts from last season, as the Bulldogs fell 78-63 in Cullowhee.

This will be the second year in a row that Asheville will welcome VUL to Kimmel Arena. The Bulldogs defeated the Dragons 114-59.

ASHEVILLE vs. APP STATE

The second half of Asheville's two-game series with Appalachian State will occur on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. at the Harrah's Cherokee Center in Downtown Asheville. Fans can purchase tickets to the game HERE

Last season, Asheville stunned the Mountaineers, who entered last year's game on an eight-game win streak, including an upset over Auburn, who was receiving votes at the time. Asheville defeated App. State 76-63, with Josh Banks breaking the program record for most 3-pointers in a single game and Drew Pember recording the third-ever triple-double in program history.
