Brianna Moore Caps Off Decorated Senior Season at NCAA Prelims

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Brianna Moore wrapped up a successful senior campaign Thursday afternoon as she competed in the long jump in the NCAA East Prelims. 

"Bree had a great approach to another great performance today," said Assistant Coach Neil Young. "She has accomplished a long list of accolades in such a short time during her senior season." 

Moore finished 31st out of 45 competitors and jumped a distance of 5.89m. 

"Bree beat 17 people who came in with higher-seeded jumps," said Head Coach Joel Williams. "She improved by approximately 17 inches over last year's best and two and a half feet over her career. Those are very uncommon improvements to achieve! Credit goes to her efforts over her five years at Asheville and the guidance of Coach Young."
