ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Swimming and Diving Readies for Eagles Holiday Splash hosted by Florida Gulf Coast on Thursday (Dec. 19). The event also features Tulane and Indiana State.

About the Bulldogs - The Bulldogs (2-2) come into the event after splitting a double dual with Georgia Southern and East Carolina back on Friday (Dec. 13). Asheville returns its entire diving squad from a season ago. Jade Canady and Morgan Coughlen who each received Atlantic Sun Conference Diver of the Week honors last season, along with the addition of freshman Vivian Fougeron. Asheville returns 19 swimmers and also adds four freshmen.

About Florida Gulf Coast - Florida Gulf Coast's last competition came at the US Open Dec. 5-7, as the Eagles also won the last event they hosted in the Eagle Invitational back in October.

About Tulane - Tulane comes into the event at 1-4 in duals after a fifth-place finish at the CSCAA Open Water Championships last Sunday (Dec. 15). Â

About Indiana State - Indiana State comes into the event at 5-1 in dual meets after a second-place finish in the Miami (Ohio) Invite Dec. 5-7.
