CLINTON, S.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Soccer fell at Presbyterian in Big South Conference action by a score of 2-0 Wednesday night (Oct. 26).

After the teams went up and down the field through the first 20 minutes, Presbyterian scored the game's first goal in the 20th minute. After more back and forth soccer with four shots from Asheville and two from Presbyterian, the Blue Hose took their 1-0 lead to the break.

Asheville would out-shoot Presbyterian 8-4 in the second half, but the Blue Hose would score in the 88th minute to bring the match to its final score.

Asheville edged Presbyterian 12-6 in shots and 5-3 in corner kicks in the match. Shae Hassig, Azalea Mihailovich and Nao Kawasaki each had two shots in the match for Asheville, while Manuela Schreier, Luca Holzl Tronchoni, Addie Cooper, Daysha Chaney, Ashley Macfarlane and Reina Herndon each had one shot in the contest. Gracie Murray made two saves between the pipes.

The Bulldogs are back on the pitch on Saturday (Oct. 26) to face High Point in Big South Conference action. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. from High Point, N.C., with video and live stats available at www.uncabulldogs.com.
