Men's Tennis Ready for 2024 Season

FULL BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE PRESEASON RELEASE

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville Men's Tennis team is ready for the 2024 season, the first for the program under new head coach Matt Frost.

The 2024 Big South Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll is displayed below:
  1. Gardner-Webb (24 points)
  2. Presbyterian (19 points)
  3. UNC Asheville (15 points)
  4. Radford (11 points)
  5. Longwood (Six points)
Asheville returns all but one player from last season, highlighted by 2023 First Team All-Conference Singles selection Sam Nicholson and 2023 Second Team All-Conference Doubles pair Jon Brann Reid and Rafa Serra.

"We're excited about our Big South challenge this season," said Frost. "The Gents understand that we have a long journey before a short and sharp conference season takes place. They're pumped up and excited to get our Spring underway!"

The Bulldogs begin the 2024 campaign next Sunday (Jan. 21) at Charlotte. First serve is set for 12:00 p.m. from Charlotte, N.C.
