ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville cross country programs released their 2023 schedule on Tuesday (July 18). The 2023 cross country season for the Bulldogs will open on Sept. 1 with the Young Harris Invitational in Young Harris, Ga.
Following their season-opening race in Georgia, the Bulldogs will return home to North Carolina to take part in the Covered Bridge Open in Boone, N.C. on Sept. 15. Asheville will close out the month of September with a trip to Louisville, Kentucky to compete in the Live in Lou Classic on Sept. 30.

In their final races before the Conference Championships, the Bulldogs will make the short trip to Spartanburg, S.C. for the USC Upstate Invitational on Oct. 14. Next up for Asheville will be the Big South Championships, which will take place on Oct. 28 in Salem, Va.
Closing out the cross country seasons for the Bulldogs will be the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships on Nov. 10 in Spartanburg, S.C. and should they qualify, the NCAA National Championships will occur on Nov. 18 in Charlottesville, Va.Â
