Bulldogs Close Out Regular Season with Victory over College of Charleston

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Tennis closed out the 2023 regular season with a 4-1 victory over College of Charleston on Saturday (Apr. 15).
The Bulldogs captured the doubles point with two out of three wins, before winning three singles matches to clinch the victory.
Rafa Serra and Bruno Serra teamed up for a 6-1 win over Johnny Wang and Brolin Dorsey at No. 2 doubles, before Chester Wickwire and Harry Thursfield beat Mattia Bernardi and Robby Krick 6-4 at No. 1 to clinch the doubles point. Sam Nicholson would start singles play with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Zac Larke at No. 2, before Freddy Murray beat Wang 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6. Thursfield would close things out in his final match for Asheville with a 6-2, 7-5 win over Bernardi at No. 1 to clinch the win for Asheville.
