Men's Tennis Drops Conference Opener to Radford

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's tennis team dropped its Big South Conference opener to Radford on Monday (Mar. 20) by a score of 5-2.
The Bulldogs won one match in doubles play but were unable to secure the doubles point, before winning two matches in singles play.
Chester Wickwire and Sam Nicholson beat Charles Courteau and Robert Hagen at No. 3 doubles in doubles play. Harry Thursfield would go on to beat Konstantinos Raptis at No. 3 singles 6-2, 6-3, before Bruno Serra would gut out a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 win over Hagen at No. 5 singles.
