Men's Tennis Releases Spring 2024 Schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Tennis has released its Spring 2024 schedule for the program's first season under Head Coach Matt Frost. Â
The season begins on Jan. 21 at Charlotte, before the Bulldogs return home for a three-match homestand. Asheville hosts Young Harris on Jan. 27, Tusculum on Jan. 28 and Lenoir-Rhyne on Feb. 4 before traveling to Wofford on Feb. 8. Asheville then returns home for a four-match homestand featuring East Tennessee State (Feb. 9), Milligan (Feb. 11), North Greenville (Feb. 17) and Belmont Abbey (Feb. 27). After a non-conference match at North Carolina Central on Mar. 2, Asheville heads to Fort Myers to take on UAB (Mar. 10) and Florida Gulf Coast (Mar. 11). Big South Conference play begins on Mar. 16 against Longwood, before the Bulldogs host Jacksonville State on Mar. 18 and then travel to Radford on Mar. 30. The Bulldogs host Gardner-Webb on Apr. 5, before the regular season ends with a three-match road swing. The Bulldogs travel to Presbyterian on Apr. 11, before taking on Middle Tennessee State on Apr. 14 and Tennessee Tech on Apr. 15. The Big South Championships will take place Apr. 20-21 at Marion Diehl Park in Charlotte, N.C.
"I personally cannot wait to get out on the courts this Spring and begin my first season as a UNC Asheville Bulldog!" said Frost. "The gentleman have grown a lot this fall and with a roster that consists of three seniors, I am excited to see them leave it all out there!"
The season opener at Charlotte is set for a 12:00 p.m. start on Jan. 21.
