Women's Diving Finishes Day Two at the Tennessee Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - UNC Asheville Women's Diving finished day two at the Tennessee Invitational on Thursday (Nov. 16). All six Asheville divers competed in the platform event.
Kindal Culpepper led the way with a 150.15, while Morgan Coughlen posted a 140.90. Amelia Ward scored a 139.90, while Leigha Travis recorded a 134.90. Jade Canady put up a 131.45, while Haley Fein also scored a 114.50. Couglen, Ward, Travis, Canady and Fein each recorded personal best marks in the event.
"For most of our divers, today was their first ever platform competition," said diving coach Matthew Macon. "We have only been training for a couple of months, so to have the opportunity to complete those dives so soon is a huge accomplishment. It was exciting to see and a fun event. We look forward to getting back to work and upgrading our tower lists."
The Bulldogs return to the water tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 17) to finish competition with the one-meter competition. The early session begins at 9:30 a.m., while the late session begins at 6:00 p.m. Both sessions will be streamed on SEC Network +.
