Women's Diving Completes Competition at the Tennessee Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - UNC Asheville Women's Diving completed competition at the Tennessee Invitational on Friday (Nov. 17). All six Asheville divers competed in the one-meter event on the final day. On the final day, all six UNC Asheville divers competed in the one-meter event.
Jade Canady paced the Bulldogs with a score of 208.80, while last week's Atlantic Sun Conference Diver of the Week Morgan Coughlen scored a 194.40. Amelia Ward scored 169.65 in the event, while Haley Fein posted a 167.15. Leigha Travis (151.00) and Kindal Culpepper (144.85) rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs.
"We had a great week at Tennessee," said diving coach Matthew Macon. "This is the strongest field of divers we have ever competed with. The opportunity to compete platform was exciting. We are motivated and ready to get back to work on new dives and increased difficulty."
The divers return to action on Dec. 15 against Georgia Southern for Senior Day. The action begins at 4:00 p.m. from the Asheville Jewish Community Center.
