Big South Conference unveils women’s basketball conference schedule

BIG SOUTH RELEASE
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A little under a week after the UNC Asheville women's basketball team released its non-conference schedule, the Big South Conference released its full league schedule on Tuesday.
"Big South play is always fun and exciting, and I expect this season to be that and more," said UNC Asheville Head Coach Honey Brown. "Playing everyone twice this year will make things even more competitive throughout conference play. I am looking forward to getting out there with our team and playing as hard as we can with every opportunity."
Unlike the last season, the Bulldogs will play home-and-home contests with each member of the Big South. League games, which will begin on December 29, will be played on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Game times will be released at a later date.
The season culminates with the 2023 Hercules Tires Big South Women's Basketball Championship, which will be held at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, N.C., from March 1-5. Two first round games will be Wednesday, March 1, followed by four quarterfinal contests on Thursday, March 2. The semifinals are scheduled for Saturday, March 4, with the Championship game on Sunday, March 5.
