2022 Ingles Big South Baseball Championship Information

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Thanks to its 14-9-1 record in Big South play, the UNC Asheville baseball team will be making its first postseason appearance since 2019 later this week at the 2022 Ingles Big South Baseball Championship. The Championship tournament begins Wednesday at Truist Point in High Point, N.C.
The third-seeded Bulldogs will open tournament play with a matchup against sixth-seeded Gardner-Webb on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Wednesday's matchup between Asheville and Gardner-Webb will mark the second postseason meeting between the two programs with the first occurring in 2017 when Asheville came away with a 6-3 win.
All tournament games will be streamed on ESPN+, while the championship game at noon on Saturday May 28 will air on ESPNU.
