Delaney Carlton named January “Bulldog of the Month” presented by Zaxby’s

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Helping propel UNC Asheville Swim & Dive to the only undefeated season in program history, Delaney Carlton has been named the January "Bulldogs of the Month" presented by Zaxby's.
In January's double dual meet with Campbell and Liberty, Carlton won all six of her events as the Bulldogs handed Liberty their first loss ever to a Collegiate Coastal Sports Association's (CCSA) team, snapping a 25-meet win streak for the flames in the process. The win was also just the second time Asheville topped Campbell. For her efforts, Carlton was named CCSA Swimmer of the Week.
Carlton and the Bulldogs finished the regular season a perfect 8-0 in duals, a feat never accomplished in the program's history. Up next for Asheville, the CCSA Conference Championships in Lynchburg, Virginia (March 16-19).
