Women’s Soccer player scored first goal at Western Carolina

ASHEVILLE N.C. – UNC Asheville women's soccer player Taylor Gardner has been named the August "Bulldog of the Month" presented by Zaxby's after scoring a goal appearing in all four games for the Bulldogs.

A freshman from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Gardner made her collegiate debut at Appalachian State and got her first start at Western Carolina, where she would register two shots and convert her first collegiate goal.

Gardner would register another shot against Furman, starting against ETSU.
