UNC Asheville Athletics announces Keroack as Assistant AD for Business Operations and Finance

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone announced the hiring of Richard Keroack as Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations and Finance on Thursday.
Keroack joins the Bulldogs from UNC, where he was the Assistant Director of Compliance for Financial Aid for the Tar Heels.
At North Carolina, Keroack's areas of oversight included: compliance, finance, student-athlete support and more. Prior to North Carolina, Keroack's stops included Oregon State (Assistant Director of Athletic Financial Aid) and the University of Montana (Assistant Director of Compliance).
"We are excited to have Richard join the Bulldog team as the Assistant Athletics Director for Business Operations and Finance and as a member of my senior team," Cone said. "His experiences at UNC, Oregon State, and the University of Montana along with his analytical expertise will help us make better financial decisions based on data and research and improve the efficiency of our business operations."
A native of Spokane, Washington, Keroack attended Northern State University, where he competed for the track and field program and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Marketing and Administration. Following Northern State, Keroack would go on to attend South Dakota, earning his Master of Arts in Sports Administration. He and his wife, Krystal, are the proud parents of their daughter, Casey, and son, James.
