Debbie Antonelli to host UNC Asheville’s “Celebration on the Court” presented by Kimmel & Associates on Oct. 21

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Athletics announced that college basketball analyst Debbie Antonelli will serve as the emcee for the inaugural "Celebration on the Court" presented by Kimmel & Associates on October 21.
A college basketball analyst for thirty years, Antonelli has worked with CBS Sports on the NCAA Men's Tournament for the last five years, becoming the first female analyst in 22 years to call a men's "March Madness" game in 2017. Additionally, Antonelli can be seen as an analyst on ESPN and the ACC Network and has been the voice of the NCAA Women's Final Four on Westwood One Radio since 2000. Along with her work at the collegiate level, Antonelli has served as an analyst in the WNBA for 25 years.
Prior to her television days, Antonelli was a three-year starter for North Carolina State where she helped guide the Wolfpack to four NCAA Tournament appearances and two Sweet 16 appearances. Graduating as a double major with a bachelor's degree in business management and economics, Antonelli earned a master's degree in sports administration from Ohio University. This past summer, Debbie Antonelli was inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame which celebrates extraordinary athletic achievement and leadership.
