Nolan named Big South Men's Tennis Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced its men's tennis weekly awards on Tuesday afternoon, with UNC Asheville senior Oli Nolan being named Big South Player of the Week. 

The senior from Birmingham, England won his singles and doubles match to help clinch the Big South regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the 2021 Big South Men's Tennis Championship. In Wednesday's match at Gardner-Webb, Nolan started his day alongside teammate Bruno Serra and the team picked up a 6-4 doubles win at No. 2. In singles, the senior won in straight sets to help seal a 5-2 win over the Runnin' Bulldogs.

Asheville will open up play in the semifinals on Friday at 11:00 a.m.
