UNC Asheville to host raffle to support Bulldog Athletics Scholarship Fund

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville Athletics Department is hosting a raffle to help raise money in support of the UNC Asheville Bulldog Athletics Fund. The raffle will open on Tuesday, March 16, and the drawing will take place on May 17 at the residence of Chancellor Cable (Brumit Pisgah House). The raffle will take the place of the annual "Our Turn to Play Scholarship Luncheon."
"We are so grateful for our UNC Asheville Bulldog supporters," stated Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone. "Their generosity enables our student-athletes to compete at the highest level both in the classroom and in the field of competition. While we wish we could gather in person for the Our Turn to Play Luncheon, we are excited to host this raffle and know that because of our great supporters it will be a success!"
Raffle Info
The raffle will sell a total of 300 tickets at $200 each, with the Grand Prize being a $10,000 travel voucher through Wilcox Travel. Other great prizes include: Omni Hotels VIP Package at five properties including a luxury stay at the Grove Park Inn, which is valued at $4,200., a six-night stay at the Kiawah Island Resort Villa ($2,500), a two-night stay at the Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort plus dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse ($1,200) and a case of assorted fine wines from the collection of Mike and Melba Tracy ($2,000).
