Women’s Basketball adds two players for 2022-23

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Head Women's Basketball Coach Honey Brown announced the additions of Jada Brigman (Charlotte, N.C.) and Millie Brown (Nashville, Tenn.) as a part of the early signing period on Wednesday.
"Our team gained two great competitors, but even better people," Brown said of the two newest Bulldogs. "Millie and Jada have shown they are willing and able to impact games in numerous ways. They are both versatile, which I love about their games. They bring tremendous work ethics and both of them are ready for the next challenge. I am so excited to coach them and Bulldog fans will love watching them!"

Jada Brigman – Guard – 5-9 – Charlotte, N.C. (Olympic HS)

Millie Brown – Guard – 5-6 – Nashville, Tenn. (Brentwood Academy)

Jada Brigman – Guard – 5-9 – Charlotte, N.C. (Olympic HS)
- Has scored 594 points, grabbed 277 rebounds, dished out 35 assists, and totaled 58 steals so far during her high school career.
- Brigman is a two-time All-Conference player
- Named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2018-19
- Earned Charlotte Observer Player of the Week honors

Millie Brown – Guard – 5-6 – Nashville, Tenn. (Brentwood Academy)
- Has connected on 226 3-pointers to date in her high school career.
- Helped her team to a state championship in 2018 and was a runner-up in the state tournament in both 2019 and 2020.
- Involved in several academic/extracurricular activities outside of basketball including but not limited to being a member of the student leadership team, the Big Sister program, and on the Headmaster's list in all four years of high school.
- An All-Region selection following the 2020-21 season.
