UNC Asheville women's basketball to pause team activities

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's basketball team will pause all activities for one week due to COVID-19 protocols within the program. 

The upcoming series at Presbyterian is postponed. The schools will work with the Big South Conference to reschedule the games. Next weekend's scheduled series with Hampton will now be played on Sunday, January 10, and Monday, January 11. 

UNC Asheville continues to follow local, university, Big South and NCAA protocols to prioritize the health and safety of its student-athletes, coaches and staff.
