"Our Turn To Play" 2020 Scholarship Luncheon Update

Bulldog Friends,

Sometimes in life, just like in athletics, a play does not go the way we plan. We are forced to call an audible. Unfortunately, due to the health circumstances in our community, country, and the world around us, we are unable to host our annual "Our Turn to Play" 2020 Scholarship Luncheon on April 29. While we understand the reasons why we cannot gather as friends during this time, it is disappointing to us that we will be unable to thank you, our Bulldog donors and friends, for your generous support. This luncheon provides us with the opportunity to shine a light on the amazing young women who represent UNC Asheville brilliantly on the court, in the pool, and our various playing fields. But even more importantly, they excel year after year in the classroom and in our community.

Please keep an eye out for a special "All-Star" message highlighting the successes from our previous "Our Turn to Play" Scholarship Luncheons. Last year's event raised over $80,000, and we hope you know how much this support means to our student-athletes and how grateful we are to have you on our Bulldog team.

Our hope is that you and your family remain safe and healthy during this time, and we look forward to getting together as one Bulldog family again very soon.
