Track and Field to Compete in Indoor Championships This Weekend

BLACKSBURG, VA. – UNC Asheville's men's and women's track and field teams are set to compete in the Big South Indoor Championships this weekend. The two day championship meet will be held, Friday-Saturday, February 28-29, at the Rector Field House on the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.
Last Time Out
The Bulldogs put together an impressive indoor season this year as UNC Asheville continued to be at the top of the competition in each meet this season.
UNC Asheville opened their indoor season with both the men's and women's programs claiming a second place finish at the Appalachian State Open. The Bulldogs improved upon that finish as the UNC Asheville men earned the first place finish in just their third meet of the season in the Marshall Thundering Herd Invitational.
The Bulldogs completed their five-meet indoor season at the VMI indoor classic, Feb. 14-15. To read the recap of each meet this season please click below:
