Swimming & Diving kicks off Bulldog Blue & White Showdown Presented by TD Bank on Saturday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville swimming and diving team will open the Bulldog Blue & White Showdown Presented by TD Bank on Saturday. The action will take place at the Justice Center Pool at 11 a.m. No spectators will be admitted to this event, but fans can tune in to watch on ESPN+.
Coach's Take – "As the first opportunity to race for many of our athletes since February, we are really looking forward to our Intrasquad Meet this Saturday," said Assistant Coach Ian Quinn. "After everything that has been happening this tumultuous year, as a team we are simply grateful for the opportunity to remain on campus, take classes, and be able to compete. We've been putting in a lot of quality work in and out of the pool the past few weeks, and I know both our Blue and White squads are thrilled to show what they can do and get our Bulldog Blue & White Showdown kicked off right. Go Bulldogs!"
Team Breakdown/Event Order and Format – The Bulldogs will be split up into a Blue team and a White team on Saturday. Seniors Megan Almond and Skye Lewis will serve as captains for the Blue squad, while Aleta Jewell and Christina Marshall will lead the charge for the White team. The full rosters are listed below.

How to Follow – As mentioned earlier, no spectators will be allowed at the facility due to the current CoVID-19 restrictions. However, fans can tune in to watch on ESPN+.
