UNC Asheville Swimming and Diving to Compete this Weekend

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – UNC Asheville's swimming and diving team will take to the pool this weekend for a quad-meet on Friday and a tri-meet on Saturday.
The Bulldog swimmers will travel to Charlotte, N.C. for a meet versus Queens, Davidson and Georgia Southern beginning at 5:30 p.m., Friday, September 27, at the Levine Center on the campus of Queens University.
The Bulldog divers will compete in their first meet of the season when they take on Davidson and Georgia Southern at 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Cannon Natatorium in Davidson, N.C.
Last Time Out
The Bulldogs held their annual Intersquad and Alumni meet, Saturday, September 21. The meet included the UNC Asheville swimming and diving team split into two teams that competed against one another in what proved to be a tightly contested race. In the end, the Silver team defeated the Blue team 108-102 in a meet that came down to the very last event.
Prior to that, the four Bulldog seniors competed in the CSCAA Open Water Nationals, Saturday, September 14, in Lawrence, Kan. As a team, the Bulldogs placed 10th and Adee Weller led the Bulldogs with a 29th place individual finish.
What's Next?
The Bulldogs will be back in action, Saturday, October 12, to take on Campbell at the Johnson Aquatic Center in Buies Creek, N.C.
