Come Join the Fun! UNC Asheville Baseball Hosting ‘Senior Sendoff Weekend’

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – To celebrate seven tremendous seniors and the final home weekend of the season, UNC Asheville baseball is hosting a special "Senior Sendoff Weekend" this upcoming weekend at Greenwood Field.
The series will begin at 6 p.m. at Greenwood Field on Friday, May 10. The special kick off to the weekend will feature Rolled & Roasted Ice Cream at Greenwood Field.
The Bulldogs will put some bark into the weekend on Saturday, May 11, with their annual "Bark in the Park" festivities. All dogs are welcomed to attend.
The game on Saturday will also feature a unique Family Fun Zone with inflatables and much more on the Greenwood Field grounds on the afternoon. Rolled & Roasted Ice Cream will be in attendance on Saturday as well.
Saturday's game will also be Senior Day at Greenwood Field with the Bulldogs honoring their seven seniors prior to first pitch at 3 p.m.
The series will close with a truly Sunday Funday at Greenwood Field that will feature a Highland Brewing Brew Garden. In addition, Twisted Laurel's Mobile Eatery will also be in attendance. The final game of the regular season at Greenwood Field is scheduled for a 1 p.m. first pitch on Sunday, May 12.
A hospitality ticket for those 21 and older is available for just $10 on Sunday. The hospitality ticket includes the price for the game and two adult beverages.
On Sunday, UNC Asheville will also be celebrating Mother's Day at Greenwood Field.
