Record-Breaking ‘Our Turn to Play Scholarship Luncheon’ Presented by Wells Fargo Raises Over $109,000

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Not only was the 2019 "Our Turn to Play Scholarship Luncheon" Presented by Wells Fargo the largest turnout in the history of the event, but the 2019 edition also marked the most money raised in the history of the event.
"Thank you for all that attended the 2019 'Our Turn to Play Scholarship Luncheon,'" Special Assistant to the Director of Athletics Betsy Blose said. "We not only set a record in attendance, but we raised over $109,000 for female student-athlete scholarships. Thank you to those that chose to invest in our female student-athletes by making a gift. They are so worth it. It is not too late to still give. Please consider making your gift today (HERE)."
The 2019 "Our Turn to Play Scholarship Luncheon" was held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, from 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on the Kimmel Arena floor inside the Wilma M. Sherrill Center. This year's event featured keynote speaker Lesley Visser.
