Brian Yohe Joins External Relations Team as Director of Live Productions

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Assistant Athletics Director for External Relations Brian Hand recently announced the addition of Brian Yohe as the Director of Live Productions.
In his role, Yohe will be in charge of UNC Asheville broadcasts that will be aired on ESPN+ as part of the Big South's multi-year agreement with the worldwide leader in sports.
Yohe will also work alongside UNC Asheville Director of Multimedia Mark Godin on a day-to-day basis in other areas as well. The duo has an updated creative content plan in the works that will continue to allow Bulldog student-athletes and coaches to be featured in numerous ways over the coming weeks, months and years.
"We are truly excited to have Brian Yohe join our External Relations team," Hand said. "He comes to UNC Asheville very highly recommend and with vast knowledge. It's not often that you can hire someone with intimate knowledge of what you are doing and step in day one, but that is exactly what we have in Brian Yohe. He actually started his position with us on March 1 and he has already successfully helmed numerous BSN on ESPN+ broadcasts and, most importantly so far, helped UNC Asheville athletics fully implement its new production van for outdoor events."
A graduate of Radford, Yohe joins the UNC Asheville athletics department after most recently working with the Highlanders for the last several years in various capacities on their broadcasts on the Big South Network and now ESPN+.
"I am thankful for the opportunity provided to me by (Director of Athletics) Janet R. Cone and the search committee of Brian Hand, Mark Godin and (Senior Associate Athletics Director) Terri Brne," Yohe said. "I've heard nothing but good things about Asheville. I'm thrilled to not only live here, but also represent the Bulldogs on a global level. UNC Asheville is headed for great things, and - if this first month is any indication - our production quality and video content are right there with it."
