UNC Asheville Athletics Thanks Valuable Partners and Leaders at Corporate Partner Networking Event

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – It's been a historic 2018-19 athletic year so far for UNC Asheville, and that would not be possible without the support of its corporate sponsors.
The partnerships of the UNC Asheville corporate sponsors support Bulldog student-athletes to be successful on and off the field.
These tremendous partnerships are why UNC Asheville Athletics hosts special opportunities throughout the year for corporate partners and community leaders to network with one another along with UNC Asheville coaches and staff.
Additionally, the continued growth of the Bulldog Athletics Corporate Partnership Network has increased the reach and community engagement within the Asheville market. The latest Corporate Partner Social gathering was recently held on Tuesday, April 2, at Twisted Laurel's downtown location, Daphne at Twisted Laurel.
"Providing our valued corporate partners with the opportunity to engage more directly with one another, outside of our sporting events, is key to an impactful Athletics Partnership platform," stated Meg Nolte, Learfield IMG College General Manager of UNC Asheville Athletics. "Our Corporate Partners support our programs throughout the year through their partnerships, and this is an opportunity for us to support their own business initiatives with additional B2B networking events within the community."
Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone knows these partnerships are key for UNC Asheville athletics.
"I am incredibly thankful for the efforts of our corporate partners that truly allow us to be successful," Cone said. "Our strategic plan of "Believe. Achieve. Thrive." is constructed to help us deliver sustained success in developing high-impact lifetime leaders and our corporate partners help us develop lifetime leaders in our most valuable resource of our student-athletes."
Twisted Laurel continues to be a proud partner of UNC Asheville Athletics and served as the host of the Corporate Partner Social, in the private event space at their downtown location, recently renamed Daphne at Twisted Laurel. Their menu now showcases creative, casual New American cuisine.
Twisted Laurel West on Leicester Highway and Twisted Laurel on Main Street in Weaverville serves their Mediterranean-inspired comfort food favorites with ever-changing lunch and dinner specials, taps, cocktails, and special events.
