Daosaengsawang Named Big South Men’s Tennis Freshman of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – UNC Asheville freshman Sirawit Daosaengsawang has been selected as the Big South Men's Tennis Freshman of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.
Daosaengsawang defeated Wofford's Lucas Cerbelli 6-4, 6-3 at No. 4 singles in UNC Asheville's win over Wofford on Saturday, March 2.
He also teamed with Olly Cull to down Bryce Keim and Omar Williams, 6-3, at No. 2 doubles.
Daosaengsawang is now 6-2 on the year in singles. He has three wins in doubles.
The undefeated UNC Asheville men's tennis team will next look to carry their dominance into a five match, seven-day road trip March 9-15. The Bulldogs will compete against College of Charleston, FAU, Stetson, FGCU and Boston University.
