No. 1 in the Nation
The national championship-winning doubles duo of Oli Nolan and Henry Patten remained No. 1 in the latest Oracle Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings that were released on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019.

The Bulldog duo has now been ranked No. 1 in the country in the last two national rankings. The No. 1 ranking is the highest doubles ranking in Big South tennis history and it is the highest a Bulldog tennis duo has ever been ranked.

The pairing moved up from No. 2 to No. 1 nationally in the Feb. 6 poll. Coming out of the fall, Nolan and Patten were ranked second in the poll that was released on Nov. 14, 2018.

This spring so far the duo is 4-0. Patten is also a perfect 4-0 in singles, while Nolan is 3-1.

Inaugural Tennis Kickoff Reception a Huge Success

For this reason, UNC Asheville tennis held their inaugural Tennis Kickoff Reception at the home of Ron and Nancy Edgerton.

The event was a special meet and greet designed to allow individuals to learn more about the UNC Asheville men's and women's tennis student-athletes and coaches.
