UNC Asheville Baseball Helps Host Another Highly Successful Camp Maybin

For the third straight year, the UNC Asheville baseball program helped Cameron Maybin host Camp Maybin on its campus.Â
Held this year on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, Camp Maybin is a complimentary baseball program hosted by Major League Baseball outfielder and Asheville native Cameron Maybin. The program is open to participants aged 8-13.
Due to weather, Camp Maybin was held in the Student Recreation Center inside the Sherrill Center this year. Camp Maybin featured five interactive stations that focused on base running, hitting, throwing/pitching and infield and outfield.
In addition to being able to learn from Maybin, all of those in attendance also had the unique opportunity to learn from and work with the 2019 UNC Asheville baseball team.
