UNC Asheville Baseball Hosts Another Exciting ‘Baseball Night in Asheville’ on Friday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Sponsored by Vannoy Construction, Highland Brewing Company and Twisted Laurel, the UNC Asheville baseball team hosted another exciting "Baseball Night in Asheville," as current MLB pitcher Oliver Drake, Head Coach Scott Friedholm, Chancellor Nancy J. Cable, Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone and five Bulldogs all spoke in front of a sold out crowd at Highland Brewing.
With the 2019 baseball season just four weeks away, the Bulldogs held live auctions on two great prizes as well as a multitude of silent auctions ranging from a Luke Kuechly autographed helmet, Wells Fargo Championship passes, 2019 Army/Navy football tickets, three night cabin stay, Charlotte Hornet tickets, Will Muschamp autographed football among many other great prizes.
The UNC Asheville baseball season kicks off on Feb. 15 with a three-game series at College of Charleston. Following a midweek game at Wofford on Feb. 20, the Bulldogs will host UMBC to open the home portion of the schedule.
