Great First Day at BAA Scholarship Golf Classic

The 2018 Bulldog Athletic Association Scholarship Golf Classic is being held Aug. 27 and 28 at The Country Club of Asheville.
The annual event sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians raises scholarship money for the UNC Asheville Athletics Annual Scholarship Fund.
The 2017 edition of the annual event raised a record-breaking over $106,000. Over the last five years, the BAA Scholarship Golf Classic has raised over $500,000.
