ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville athletics department recently unveiled a new offering that will give Bulldog fans a true inside look into being a student-athlete.

Under the guidance of Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement Alex Achorn the special new offering from the athletics department will be exclusively run on the social media platform, Instagram.

"We are really excited to be able to showcase our student-athletes in this very unique way," Achorn said. "One of the things we are always trying to do is involve our student-athletes so that Bulldog fans and even our student-athletes themselves can have access to things that they would not normally have the chance to see.

"We formulated this idea with our student-athletes and they have already shown over the course of preseason that this is a great idea. 'Asheville All-Access' really encapsulates the full story of the student-athlete experience here at UNC Asheville."

UNC Asheville's official Instagram handle is @AshevilleDogs. All fans and friends of UNC Asheville are encouraged to follow @AshevilleDogs to keep up with all of the great things happening with Bulldog student-athletes.

"Asheville All-Access" is unique in that one student-athlete from each Bulldog athletic team will be in charge of providing the inside look from their team. The student-athletes will utilize the Instagram story format and normal posting on @AshevilleDogs. Many of the posts will feature a special "Asheville All-Access" logo designed by volleyball student-athlete Carter Kennedy

The posts will feature the hashtag, #AshevilleAllAccess.
